Lakeview Fundamental

...the little school with the big heart

Home About Us
About Us

Built in 1927, Lakeview was used as a neighborhood elementary school for many years. In 1985, it was re-established as a fundamental school, accepting students from throughout the county. Since then, it has thrived as a small, family-oriented school emphasizing student responsibility and preparing kids for continuous academic success.

Lakeview students earned some of the highest scores in the county on state achievement tests. For details click here.

With 348 students, Lakeview is one of the smallest elementary schools in Pinellas County.

The Exceptional Student Education program includes services for speech and specific learning disabilities. A weekly pull-out program for gifted students is available on-site.
